ASNB Transaction Guide

You can invest in ASNB funds either online via myASNB (portal & mobile app) or at ASNB branches and appointed bank agents. Fixed-price funds are priced at RM1.00 per unit, while variable-price funds are priced based on NAV (NAB) per unit and all transactions use forward pricing as detailed in the fund documents/FAQs. Before investing, always review the risks involved and the applicable fees/charges stated in the fund’s Prospectus, Product Highlights Sheet (PHS) and Fund Fact Sheet (FFS).

Online redemption (jualan balik) via myASNB allows unitholders to redeem their holdings for funds that support this feature. For variable-price funds, settlement may take up to 7 business days from the application date (in line with the Unit Trust Fund Guidelines), while the processing time and final payout amount are subject to each fund’s terms and the transaction channel used.

Transfer (unit transfer):
Unit transfers are subject to unit availability and applicable transfer fees, as stipulated by ASNB and detailed in the relevant fund documents.

Switching (fund switching):
Switching requests must be submitted before the 4.00 p.m. cut-off time on business days. Switching fees apply and vary depending on the type of destination fund (for example, switching to a fixed-price fund versus a variable-price fund), as set out in the fund’s FFS/FAQ.

Bank agent counter service charges:
Fixed-price funds: RM1 per transaction
Variable-price funds: No service charge imposed by bank agents

Other fund-related fees (such as sales charges, switching fees, transfer fees, etc.) vary by product.
Please refer to each fund’s Prospectus, PHS and FFS for the specific fee structure.

The Muzakarah of the National Fatwa Council has resolved that investment in ASB/ASN is “harus” (permissible), with detailed explanations compiled by ASNB under the “Hukum Pelaburan ASB/ASN” section.
